CRM development, SAAS application
The client came to us seeking help with his family business, which has been running since 1890. It started as a horse and carriage provider and evolved into a garage before becoming Bob Nurse Motors, a service station including pumps and towing. Since then, it has been evolving to keep pace with the changing trend and transitioned into Bob Nurse Motors in 2007.
Although this venture has been successfully running and has a fair user base, it required another makeover to keep up with the mandatory provincial-regulated emission testing and repairs. We were happy that they actively use electronic computer engine management systems for manufacturing, re-flashing, and re-programming vehicle control modules.
They were looking for a way to streamline the working of automobile workshops and help offer better customer service and help garage owners track their performance with their CRM. It would help the customers to be able to see real-time updates, cost analyses, and suggested repairs using their SAAS application. It would be a one-time stop for the customers to see the best garages in their area and seek help with purchase, or repair.
Autohound is a family business that has been in the industry for years. So the client had a lot of information and a concrete plan. He wanted to make the functioning of the garage shops help them achieve more efficiency and generate more revenue. This would foster customer loyalty and make it easier for the shop owners to send regular updates to them.
We would be focusing on both shop owners and customers. So the application would have specialized features that would be easy to operate. Since the owners would send regular updates, we also had to ensure data security.
Autohound simplifies automobile services like inspection, and repair for everyone. It is a SAAS application offering a platform to garage owners and customers to make the process more streamlined, foster customer trust, and help shop owners keep an eye on the time and cost of each repair. The right implementation of the idea was able to help a family business that has been running for more than 100 years continue the quality of services it offers.
Our team was intrigued to work on Autohound, and the major challenge was that automobile inspection is a comprehensive process. So the application would have a lot of features, but these need to be easily accessible and functioning.
It needed clear roles for the three users and an admin who would monitor all the users and their functioning to ensure accuracy. The application had to be highly functional and perform well on all devices to make availing automobile repair services on the go easy for everyone. It should also be accurate for transparency and customer loyalty. However, we were able to find the right technology for its optimum performance.
Automobile inspection is a huge industry that includes several processes and stages. However, we wanted to keep the application interface simple and efficient to foster transparency and loyalty for positive results. Therefore, we divided the interface into three user groups. The user will visit the site and choose their role while signing up. They would be able to choose among:
A customer can sign up at Autound for an automobile inspection or repair. First and foremost, he will have to verify his phone number. Then they can see the nearest garages in the network around them and add details about their vehicles and requirements by filling in all the mandatory fields.
Here the user will enter the plate number, year manufactured, make, model, and VIN, as shown in the figure. Once the work is complete, they will also be able to edit the invoice.
Further to keep things easier for the customers. All the details will be open to editing, like customer details, vehicle details, and invoice details.
The second user type on the application is the garage owner. Once they sign up and log in, they can access their dashboard to search and add customers or business owners under their business. They also get access to features like sending emails to the customers or assigning status (active and inactive) and role (customer and business user). Moreover, they can also add a vehicle or invoice for transparency.
They also get the option to add expense breakdowns for customer satisfaction.
Since automobile inspection is an intricate process, it involves a lot of calculations to maintain transparency and get better results. Therefore, Autohound also focuses on detailed reports on different parameters, like:
It also helps the owners understand their revenue better by giving a detailed analysis of body repair, combined cost, and performance enhancements.
